Material 4.2mm - 80CrV2 carbon steel

Two-stage heat treatment - blade edge special hardening 63HRC

Blade length 98mm - tang 125mm

2 x 10° grinding without second bevel - top sharpness

Tapered and also thinning blade shape to the tip.
Height from the bolster 21.5mm - from the arch 18mm
Thickness at the bolster 4.15mm - from the tip 2.5mm

Pre-finished shoulder and shank grinding for bolster installation.

Sanded sides with an emission color - if desired, it is really easy to polish the sides to a bright shine.

Thanks to the two-stage hardening method, the extremely torsion-resistant blade body - hardened to spring hardness (50HRC).
The cutting edge is hardened in the second step by electric induction to a really durable hardness of 63HRC, and with fast induction hardening, a better crystal structure is also achieved, which improves the cutting properties.
