Sanding belt assortment for Work Sharp MK2 sharpening machine.
The package includes six replacement tapes
2 pcs - 80 grit
2 pcs - 220 grit
2 pcs - 6000 grit
6000 (purple) fine sanding belt is used to remove the thread from the knife/knife blade and finish and polish it to razor sharp. The same principle as when slipping on a leather belt, but everything happens much faster.
220 Medium (red) sanding belt is intended for actual sharpening if the knife/knife has become dull. Often, just a 6000 sanding belt is enough for maintenance sharpening.
Work Sharp 80 Coarse (green) sanding belt is intended for sharpening very damaged blades when you want to remove more blade material at once.
