Uula of Oulu

There is no completely certain information about the origin of the name of our city Oulu, but the river has always existed and one possible origin is the dialect of the word uula, which means channel or riverbed.

Uula is also a son of the north.

Our Uula respects the skills of the desert people and the traditional northern blade model, which the Uitto men also carried on their belts.

The tip of the blade widens slightly at the edge of the blade, giving it its own and recognizable look.

These domestic Uula blades were made to order for us by Laurin Metalli.

The material is 80 CrV2 carbon steel.

The blades are ground and specially sharpened to a slightly gentler blade angle.
